Gym Watch ("the app", "we", "us") is a strength-training tracker for Wear OS smartwatches, operated by an independent developer in Canada. This policy explains what information the app handles and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to this policy.
The app uses your watch's sensors to track workouts. Sensor data and your workout history are stored on your watch.
If you choose to sign in with Google, we store your account identifiers (email address and user ID) and your workout history using Google's cloud services, so you can back up your workouts and see them on other watches.
To track your workouts and, if you sign in, to back up and sync them. Nothing is used for advertising.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for others' own purposes. If you sign in, Google stores your data as our service provider, under its own privacy policy.
Data on your watch stays until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app. Backed-up data stays until you delete it; Delete cloud data in the app erases everything stored for your account.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit for backups. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
